In order to create the kind of office that people want to work in, DEX Workspaces consulted closely with Gaming Hub to understand what was needed for the office space. Through this process, it was determined that a mix of modular and standalone furniture for different areas would meet the optimal balance of cost-effectiveness, convenience and efficient lead times.

The project began in late January and was completed by mid-March, with DEX Workspaces installing 40 desks and chairs, reception counter, board room furniture and some cabinetry for the offices.

Collaboration with the client is essential for an outstanding result. James Busuttil, design consultant for DEX Workspaces formulated a brief with the help of the client encompassing all their needs and requirements. Once a clear idea of the furniture types that would fit the client’s vision was available, the best models were selected from a variety of furniture ranges available from our suppliers, namely Newform for office desks, boardroom and reception furnishings, and Quinti for desk and meeting chairs.

The new office space helped to create an environment that was professional and focused, while ensuring that comfort was maintained. The furniture was carefully chosen to work together with the users of Gaming Hub, to enhance their performance.

When asked just how the finished result achieved this, James Busuttil, Design Consultant at DEX Workspaces, said “[amongst other things] the comfort of an ergonomic chair [was chosen] since, after all, the chair is the one thing users have 100% physical contact with.”

“We were all very excited about having a new office environment – and the result was worth the wait,” said Alina, content manager at Gaming Hub. “The functional and comfortable furniture helps us feel more innovative while we are working, [and it also] conveys professionalism and a work-focused atmosphere.”
